Atmosphere Furnace Assembly

Atmosphere Furnace Assembly
Atmosphere Furnace Assembly is a critical component in vacuum furnaces, designed to manage high-temperature environments while ensuring operational efficiency. Common materials used in these assemblies include Tungsten and Molybdenum, which are known for their exceptional heat resistance. Tungsten thermal shields are especially effective at temperatures exceeding 1,100°C, reflecting and blocking heat within the furnace. These shields are assembled using advanced riveting techniques, featuring butt or overlap joints and multiple layers separated by corrugated plates or U-shaped strips. Properly secured with molybdenum or tungsten wire clamps and screws, these assemblies are essential for maintaining stable temperature conditions. Due to the oxidation sensitivity of tungsten above 500°C and molybdenum above 400°C in air, these assemblies are most effective when used in vacuum or inert gas environments.
Thin Film Materials Engineering (TFM) offers high-quality Atmosphere Furnace Assemblies that are engineered for durability and precision. Our assemblies utilize top-grade tungsten and molybdenum components to ensure maximum thermal efficiency in demanding vacuum furnace applications.
