KF/ISO Flanged SS Million Cycle Gate Valves (Pneumatic)

High-Performance Valves for Vacuum Applications

Designed for use with cryopumps, turbomolecular pumps, and ion pumps, these valves are perfect for situations demanding clean, high-vacuum environments and minimal maintenance. They offer several advantages in durability, reliability, and smooth operation.

Built for Extended Use

These rugged valves are built to last, sharing the core design elements of standard valves but enhanced to endure over 1 million cycles before requiring any servicing. Their reinforced bellows are engineered for an extended operating lifespan.

Durable Construction

All moving joints are crafted from 304 stainless steel, which is hardened to boost durability, minimize particulate production, and ensure smoother actuation. In the case of power failure, the valves maintain their closed position, providing added reliability.

Advanced Sealing and Control Features

Equipped with fluorocarbon seals, these valves can withstand temperatures up to 150°C and are bakeable. Additionally, they are fitted with electropneumatic operators for precision control. The body-mounted solenoid includes a manual override for easy operation, while the 120 VAC solenoid features speed controls for enhanced actuation smoothness.

Flexible Sizing and Position Indicators

Available in sizes ranging from 1.5″ to 12.0″, these valves are equipped with magnetic reed switches that act as position indicators, offering easy monitoring and integration into various vacuum systems.

TFM provides these high-performance valves, ensuring a reliable solution for your vacuum application needs.

FAQ

Sputtering targets are materials used in thin-film deposition processes to create coatings on substrates. They are used in industries like semiconductors, optics, photovoltaics, and electronics.

Evaporation materials are used in Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) processes, where materials are heated and evaporated to form a thin film on a substrate. These are critical for applications in optics, wear protection, and decorative coatings.

Boat crucibles are used as containers for evaporation materials during PVD processes. They help to uniformly evaporate materials onto the substrate for thin film formation.

Sputtering uses energetic particles to eject material from a target, while evaporation involves heating a material until it vaporizes and deposits on a substrate. Both are common methods in Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) for creating thin films.

Consider the material composition, purity, target size, and application-specific requirements such as the thickness and uniformity of the film.

Yes, we offer customized sputtering targets, evaporation materials, and crucibles to meet specific customer requirements for size, material composition, and purity.
